Routes setup:di:compile to a trusted Rust binary for faster code generation, with a Composer installer, timeout/jobs controls, and a --standard fallback to the PHP compiler.
Replaces the storefront read path with OpenSearch to hydrate products, categories, reviews, and option labels from the index, slashing SQL and speeding PDPs, search, and navigation. Includes real-time indexing, instant search with live facets and AI-tuned relevance, a fast checkout pipeline, and a CLI doctor to verify setup.
Uses the MariaDB DuckDB storage engine to run a full Orders Report against 1M orders/2M items, showing runtime dropping from 18.5s on InnoDB to 0.29s when both tables are DuckDB (63× faster). Covers Docker Compose setup, creating read-only DuckDB snapshots, the exact SQL used, validation, limitations, and next steps for syncing writes.
