The Magento 2 Payment Fee extension by MagePrince allows store owners to add extra charges for specific payment methods. These fees are shown throughout the customer journey — on the cart, checkout, order summary, invoice, credit memo, and sales emails.
Collects ecommerce data and pushes it to Google Tag Manager's dataLayer, with GTM/Measurement API configuration and support for events like view_item, add_to_cart, view_cart, begin_checkout, and purchase. Includes installation steps and notes on handling FPC via AJAX across catalog and checkout.
Replaces the stock Knockout/RequireJS checkout with a single Alpine.js component using native REST calls. Supports guest and customer flows, coupons, shipping/payment methods, and T&C, with a tiny footprint, CSP-safe assets, and a per–store view toggle.
Splits one‑page checkout into islands: an instantly typeable, cache‑friendly shell with deferred window.checkoutConfig and the stock Knockout payment component, so existing gateways keep working. Includes Google Places autocomplete, saved‑address carousel via customer‑data/localStorage, guest‑order linking, inline validation, and a fail‑safe fallback. Beta; tested primarily alongside its sibling performance extension, and requires 2.4.6+ with PHP 8.1+.
